The Domestic Agenda Research Labs
Much of the progress made toward the Millennium
Development Goals began in a lab. The famous packet of powder that makes
contaminated water safe began in a research environment and grew through the
stages of peer-reviewed critique before it was rolled out to NGOs for
dissemination. The engines of ingenuity include research structures like
post-doctoral fellowships, conferences, and journals. Sadly, for maternal
survival, there is no lab. Yet.
The Domestic Agenda aims to grow a financial support structure to attract bright emerging researchers to the field of research on women's health. Until we have an independent funding base, the organization primarily provide academic guidance and umbrella support for research projects and proposals. If you are interested in researching maternal survival, please contact Annie Feighery.
